The Dearborn, Michigan community is mourning the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Aubrie Morgan, a recent 2025 graduate of Dearborn High School, whose passing has left family, friends, classmates, and teammates devastated. Her death has sent waves of grief through the Dearborn High School Pioneers family, where Aubrie was deeply loved, admired, and cherished.
It is with heavy hearts that the Pioneers community shared the news of Aubrie’s passing, marking the loss of a young woman whose presence meant more than words can express. Aubrie was not only a talented student-athlete, but also a kind, compassionate soul who made a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Aubrie proudly represented Dearborn High School as a member of both the softball and field hockey teams. She played right field for the softball program and served as a dedicated goalie for the field hockey team. Her commitment went beyond athletic skill—her willingness to show up, support her teammates, and give her all played a critical role in sustaining the future of the softball program. Without Aubrie, the 2025 season would have faced the difficult reality of eliminating the junior varsity team. Her contribution was not just valuable; it was essential.
Teammates and coaches remember Aubrie as one of the kindest people they had ever known. She carried herself with humility, warmth, and a genuine care for others, always finding a reason to smile—even in challenging moments. Her passion for life, her love for her teams, and her uplifting spirit made her a cornerstone of the athletic community at Dearborn High.
Beyond the field, Aubrie was known for her beautiful heart and selflessness. She consistently put others before herself, offering kindness, encouragement, and laughter wherever she went. Her sense of humor was unmatched—she had a way of lighting up any room and bringing joy to even the hardest days. To know Aubrie was to feel seen, supported, and cared for.
Having just graduated from high school, Aubrie was filled with excitement for the future. She was preparing to begin her journey in cosmetology, eager to pursue her passion and make her mark on the world. Her dreams, energy, and optimism reflected a young woman full of promise, ambition, and creativity. The sudden loss of such a bright future has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who loved her.
Aubrie’s passing is especially heartbreaking due to her young age. No family ever expects to face the pain of planning a funeral for an 18-year-old, and yet her loved ones now carry that unimaginable burden. As they grieve, they are being surrounded by an outpouring of love, prayers, and support from the community Aubrie touched so deeply.
To honor her memory and support her family during this difficult time, a GoFundMe and MealTrain will be shared for those wishing to help. Additionally, a candlelight vigil will be held on January 15, 2026, at 9:00 PM at Ford Field Park near the Red Bridge, offering friends, teammates, and community members a space to come together in remembrance, reflection, and love.
Though her life was tragically cut short, Aubrie Morgan’s legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched with her kindness, laughter, and unwavering spirit. She will forever be remembered as a devoted teammate, a loving friend, a cherished daughter, and a young woman whose heart was far bigger than her years.
Aubrie will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten.
